Pitch In for a Strong Contract

#OrangeUp2024

Active members make strong unions. If we want a contract that satisfies all our goals, we need to work together and consistently be active through bargaining. The best thing you can do is find consistent ways to contribute and then ask your coworkers to join you. Take a few minutes now to review this list and let us know how you will help.

Our main goal right now is for every member to sign up for 30 minutes to volunteer during bargaining. Pick your time, and choose your own organizing adventure (e.g., talk with folks, send texts, stuff mailers, deliver shirts, and more!). Refreshments will be served!

How to Contribute to Win a Great Contract in…

  • Put a window sign in your office window or on your door

  • Attend public comment at the beginning of the next Board of Governor’s meeting on April 26th

  • Join a “Bargaining in Brief” update on Wednesdays on Zoom at 4 PM; starting May 1 and running bi-weekly until the new contract is settled. Contact office@waunion.org for the link.
