Contract
The collective bargaining agreement (“the contract”) is a written legal contract negotiated between WAU and the WSU Board of Governors. The contract defines your rights and responsibilities as an employee. Knowledge is power: you should familiarize yourself with the contract and, if you believe your rights are being violated, reach out to discuss an issue.

Letters of Agreement
When WAU and the WSU administration need to negotiate matters arising after a contract has been ratified, they prepare binding legal documents called Letters of Agreement (LoA). Letters of Agreement negotiated prior to 2021 were appended to the 2021-2023 contract.
